TAM-TAM ORCHESTRA
Vznikl v roce 1999. V současnosti skupinu tvoří šestice muzikantů. Kapelník Miloš Vacík, hraje na speciálně sestavenou bicí soupravu, etnické bicí nástroje, perkuse a zpěv.
Zpěvačka, tanečnice Tereza Vacíková hraje na brazilský strunný nástroj Cavaquinho a perkuse všeho druhu.
Perkusista Martin Kreuzberg obohacuje rytmy o velké množství afro-brazilských a kubánských bicích nástrojů. Rytmickou sekci doplňuje perkusista, tanečník Dobroslav Hahn. Rytmickou sekci doplňuje kytarista, basista a hráč na dechové nástroje.
Celá tato formace tvoří taneční, groovovou kapelu, která vychází z etnické hudby, world music. Čerpá hlavně z brazilských, kubánských a afrických rytmů. Koncert Tam-Tam Orchestra je strhující zábava, vhodná jak do klubů, na festivalová pódia, tak na taneční párty.

HISTORIE
Tam-Tam Orchestra se pravidelně objevuje na festivalech ( Trutnov, Colours of Ostrava, Mezi ploty, Pohoda, Creamfield, United Islands, Letovice 3+1 atd.) Hrál sérii koncertů pro Algida Stage, Global Conection, předkapela finské skupiny Värttinä, britských Transglobal Underground.
Tam-Tam Orchestra a Samba Tam-Tam Batucada se dají vzájemně kombinovat, či doplňovat.

TAM-TAM ORCHESTRA
Established in 1999. Today the band consists of seven musicians. Band leader Miloš Vacík sings and plays a custom-built drum set, ethnic drums and percussion instruments. Singer and dancer Tereza Petrášová also plays cavaqinho and various percussion. Percussionists Martin Kreuzberg and Flavinha Torga Fernandes Pinto from Rio de Janeiro enriches the rhythms with a range of Afro-Brazilian and Cuban instruments. The rhythm section is accompanied by guitarist Jakub Hlobil and bassist Martin Drahoňovský. Radim Knapp complements with a trompet and percussion.
The whole formation adds up to a danceable, groovy band inspired by ethno and world music. The band is mainly, but not exclusively, influenced by Brazilian, Cuban and African rhythms. Tam-Tam Orchestra's shows are riveting entertainment, equally suitable in a nightclub, on a festival stage or at a dance party.
RECORDINGS
In May, 2005, the Tam-Tam Orchestra released its second CD Rytmikon published by Warner Music CR and produced by Dušan Neuwerth. Rytmikon exhibited one fundamental change in contrast to the samba-inspired 2000 debut: a marked shift from instrumental compositions to full songs, complete with Czech lyrics.
The first album from 2000, Tam-Tam Orchestra, was filled with the rhythms of Brazilian samba, Cuban and African traditions. It was the Czech Republic's first samba CD!. You can listen to MP3 samples on the Records page.
HISTORY
Tam-Tam Orchestra regularly appears at festivals (Trutnov, Colours of Ostrava, Mezi ploty, Pohoda, Creamfield, etc). The band played a series of concerts for Algida Stage 2004, Global Connection 2004, and has opened for bands such as the Finnish band Värttinä, Transglobal Underground, and more.
Tam-Tam Orchestra and Samba Tam-Tam Batucada can play together in combination or complement each other.
